Since coming into the real estate business, Steve Green has been following his tagline of “Creating New Home Happiness Every Day.” Green believes that the home buying and selling processes should be fun and positive experiences. He says, “You are passing on a home that you have enjoyed for years, and the buyers are buying a home that they hope gives them the same utility.”
Of course, in reality, that is not always the case or a possibility. And there is plenty of stress involved on both sides of the transaction. Green believes clearing roadblocks or hurdles is part of the challenge to make the home sales process the best it can be for his clients. “Our job doesn’t end with the contract,” he says. “Ninety percent of our job is follow-up. It’s my job to pave the way for a smooth transaction. When my clients can see that I am clearing the pathway to their home ownership dreams, then they can be at ease.”
Many of Green’s clients become long-time friends. “’Creating New Home Happiness Every Day’ is my motto and my ultimate goal with every transaction,” he says.
Helping to solve problems comes second nature to him. When he sees a need, whether in the community or for his clients, he works to find winning solutions. In his community, Green spearheaded the establishment of a new neighborhood association, Galewood Neighbors, to bring a voice to his neighborhood and to help solve local problems. “I’m relentless when it comes to finding solutions to make it a better place for my clients or my community,” he says. “It’s just who I am.”
