More often than not, by the time they reach the closing table, clients of Shayne Wulbert’s become her friends. Genuine, personable and a good listener, Wulbert, a broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, gives clients as much time as they need to feel comfortable and confident in the decisions they are making.
“It’s really important to find a location and neighborhood that you love before you can figure out what kind of home you want,” explains Wulbert, a 2021 CAR Top Producer and @properties Road to Rolex award winner. “I don’t mind touring neighborhoods with clients to help them figure that out before focusing on specific buildings or types of homes.”
Wulbert has over eight years of experience assisting buyers, sellers and investors in the city and suburbs. She also has a lot of experience helping relocation clients find homes throughout the Chicagoland area.
She brings many value-adds to the buying and selling process: staging, designing and implementing renovations to maximize sales price; experience vetting HOAs; helping clients understand the potential pitfalls of a property; and a sharp eye for assessing future value not obvious to the casual observer.
“I try to be everything for my clients and will facilitate working with vendors, renovations, and staging … they find me to be incredibly resourceful,” she says. “I aim to take the stress out of the process for them by taking the small stuff off their plates.”
She does a lot of transactions in the West Loop, her beloved neighborhood of 19 years. As part of the @properties Christie’s International Real Estate relocation team, she frequently facilitates moves for high profile executives to and from Chicago. She is also licensed in Texas and part of @properties Dallas.
Real estate has proven to be a wonderful creative outlet for Wulbert. She spent 13 years in the high-end art business, mostly as a gallery director, before switching careers.
