Coleen Grenier, Realtor

Baird & Warner

Sharing her knowledge, advice and strong work ethic with all her clients, Coleen Grenier strives to make every buyer, seller and investor feel special. “I love it when they say they never felt like I was too busy for them,” says Grenier, a Realtor with Baird & Warner. “I want my clients to feel like they are the only client I have.”

A former marketing and design professional, Grenier earned her real estate license 17 years ago after moving with her husband from New York City to Chicago. Deciding it was time for a career change, Grenier opted for a job that would benefit from the skills she had already developed in the fashion industry. “When working in marketing, design and sales, regardless of whether it’s clothing, an accessory, or a home, you have to know what sells and how to sell it,” she says.

In 2021, Grenier sold multiple properties sight unseen, relying on virtual home tours and video meetings to provide her buyers with a comprehensive experience that would leave them feeling confident in their decisions. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Grenier’s written volume surpassed ten million dollars and she ranked among the Top 5% for residential sales for both volume and units in the Northwest area by the North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors. She is a member of the Baird & Warner Chairman’s Club and has earned her Real Estate Negotiation Expert designation from NSBAR.

Within the past few years, Grenier saw a substantial growth in her referral base, demonstrating the power of experience combined with glowing reviews and word of mouth recommendations. “I’m straight forward but professional and I don’t sugar coat anything,” she says, noting that she aims to educate her clients without overburdening them with superfluous information. “People appreciate that and repeat customers and referrals are the biggest compliment.”

Grenier is the proud mother of 22-year old triplets and as of this year, college graduates.
