Chicago agent Roman Patzner initially moved to the Chicago area after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2003. “I fell in love with the city but was only able to live here for a year before my employer relocated me to Florida,” he shares. “In 2006, I moved back to Chicago to attend law school and have lived here ever since. I could never see myself living anywhere else.”

While Patzner has only been an agent for two years, he has 12 years of experience under his belt working as a real estate investor. He began acquiring investment properties during his time working for a large law firm, falling in love with real estate in the process. “After acquiring 40 doors, I decided it was time to quit my job as a tax attorney to manage my properties full time and become a real estate agent,” he says.

Working with buyers, sellers, and investors, Patzner is incredibly proud to have sold $14.4 million in sales in his first year as an agent back in 2021. In just the first six months of 2022, he’s raised his total sales volume to nearly $25 million. “I appreciate everyone in my network trusting me to help them on their real estate journey,” he says. “The fact that my investor clients keep coming back to purchase investment properties every six to nine months is a testament to the level of service that I provide.”

Patzner was named the #2 Top Sales Individual Agent at Fulton Grace Realty in his first year as a broker, also nabbing the title of “Rookie of the Year.” His success comes from treating every client’s interaction as if it were his own.

Giving back to the community he loves so much, Patzner serves as a volunteer and member of a number of LGBTQ+ organizations and charities in the Chicago area.
