Peter Green helps his clients find success in the market while staying true to their goals. As a broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, Green serves first time buyers, sellers, investors and renters on the City’s North Side as well as the suburban North Shore. “I’m from Wilmette, so the North Shore and City were always part of my life.”
Prior to becoming a broker in 2015, Green worked as a commercial credit analyst at a local middle-market bank. Green’s mother was a Realtor and former real estate lender and his father was a real estate investor of multi-unit properties, so the career transition was something of a homecoming. “I’ve always loved homes and working with people,” he explains. “It’s a relationship business and I enjoy getting to know my clients and becoming an integral part of their life.”
With significant experience in home renovations, new constructions builds and condo flips, Green enjoys a challenge from start to finish. “It’s such a great experience to see a raw space, develop a plan with an architect or builder, and then bring it to life,” he says. Thanks to his constant availability, industry acumen and streamlined processes, Green has a 90% referral-based business. “I have the best clients and they are the reason that I love what I do,” he says. This has led to long-standing relationships with people who trust that he has their best interests at heart. In 2021, Green sold over $10 million worth of properties, earning him a CAR Top Producer designation and Road to Rolex recognition.
In this spare time, Green is a passionate chef and baker and is a big fan of the Barefoot Contessa’s recipes. He also loves roller blading, bike riding on the Chicago Lakefront and walking through the city with his dog, Hank.
