With a focus on making mortgage financing as simple as possible for her clients, she’s ready to tackle any challenge that comes her way. Her patience, strong communication skills and experience allow her to support the unique needs of each client and navigate the mortgage lending industry with ease, giving her an edge over the competition. 

Driven by a strong desire to help others, Kennedy was drawn to the industry after developing a passion for customer service while working at Nordstrom. Now with 18 years in the mortgage business, she is well equipped to help any client accomplish their financial goals. “I’m not afraid of a challenging loan, whether that be for a self-employed borrower with complex tax returns, a retired client with different income streams, or other unique situations” she says. “I am a problem solver by nature and my clients know that I truly care about them.” 

Clients describe Kennedy as responsive and understanding of their needs. She keeps business fun while getting the job done. “I’m always available to my clients, and you can never ask me too many questions” she says. “When you are going through this process, you’re likely to have time-sensitive questions. If clients need me late in the evening or over the weekend, I’m there. They know that we are in this together.” 

When she isn’t helping clients, Kennedy enjoys helping her community. She recently participated in a Move-in for Habitat Chicago build event, she was a sponsor of the Hamlin Park Baseball Association, and for many years was a volunteer and board member at Lincoln Park Community Services. Kennedy has taken on leadership roles in fundraising at her daughter’s school as well as leading her Girl Scout Troop. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
