With a combined 25 years of experience backing them up, Karoline Whittaker and Trisha Pelhank, co-team leaders of the Whittaker Pelhank Group of @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, are the Chicago dream team of real estate. Both Whittaker and Pelhank found themselves moving from the city to the suburbs they currently serve after college, and they haven’t looked back since. “I have lived in so many amazing neighborhoods in Chicago,” says Whittaker, “and now I get to show them to clients every day!”
Putting their experience to use in conjunction with their strong work ethic, the Whittaker-Pelhank team has received ample recognition. “Our biggest professional accomplishment in the past year was being named the #1 Team in the Downers Grove office of @properties,” says Whittaker. The team was also recognized for outstanding achievement by @properties Christie’s International Real Estate and are members of both the National and Illinois Associations of Realtors, as well as the Mainstreet Association of Realtors.
Having an enthusiastic and thorough business style, Whittaker and Pelhank strive to provide their clients with the highest levels of service. “We are here to support our clients and help them manage the stress and emotions that can come with buying or selling homes,” says Whittaker. “There is so much joy that comes with buying and selling a home, and we want that to shine through!” Pelhank adds.
When the duo isn’t leading the team at Whittaker Pelhank Group, they’re often doing philanthropic work for the Sgt. Tommy’s Kids organization, a charity founded for Pelhank’s late brother. Explorers at heart, both Whittaker and Pelhank love to travel. “We love exploring new locations on foot and experiencing all that they have to offer, be it through food, golf, hiking or architecture,” says Whittaker. Both have developed a deep friendship over the past decade, which has allowed them to grow and evolve professionally and personally.
