In 2021, Behan closed twice the market share of his closest competitor in River Forest and is tracking to do the same this year. Most of his business comes from organic referrals. “I’m really not a salesman,” he says. “I build relationships. Most clients are either friends or become friends.”
Behan was recognized as the No. 1 individual agent in @properties Christie’s International Real Estate’s Goose Island office in 2020 and again in 2021. He says his favorite accomplishment of the past year was selling the biggest listing of his career in a multiple-bid situation and beating a $50,000 credit request down to $3,500. His ability to thrive in stressful environments and his process-driven style give his clients an edge in the ever-growing Chicago real estate market.
Behan is deeply invested in his community, he actively supports important local organizations including Sarah’s Inn, Hephzibah Children’s Association and Beyond Hunger. He loves to sponsor multiple River Forest youth sports teams.
