Len Altimari, Real Estate Broker

Berkshire Hathaway

A Chicago native through and through, Len Altimari exudes hometown pride, inspiring his clients to embrace everything the city has to offer. As a real estate broker with Berkshire Hathaway, Altimari acts as both a listing agent and a buyer’s agent and serves buyers and sellers throughout the Chicagoland area, including Lincoln Park, Lakeview, the Near North Side, the North Shore and the western suburbs. “Real estate is my passion, and my goal is to make the process as easy as possible for my clients,” he says. “I personalize my approach to cater to their needs and go above and beyond to surpass their expectations.”

Prior to joining the real estate industry seven years ago, Altimari worked at the Chicago Board of Trade and AT&T, taking on sales, project management and consulting roles. “My career background taught me how to arrive early, work late, be prepared and always have a plan,” he declares, adding that real estate has afforded him the opportunity to further hone these skills.

Throughout the pandemic, Altimari prioritized keeping his clients safe and comfortable. His diligence paid off, earning him the President’s Circle award at Berkshire Hathaway and furthering his network and referral base.

Altimari is a graduate of DePaul University and a longtime resident of Lincoln Park, where his 10,000 LED Christmas lights have earned him notoriety. A recognizable face in his community, he has run several softball leagues and was previously nominated to the 16 Inch Softball Hall of Fame. Altimari is a member of the Chicagoland Association of Realtors, the president of the Tamerlane Homeowners Association, the Saint Clement Parent’s Association chair for special events and the founder of the annual Halloween party Scary Lane.

Together with his wife, Marie, Altimari enjoys entertaining, cooking and coaching his daughter Eleanor’s soccer team. He is a die-hard Cubs fan and a staunch supporter of Lou Malnati’s deep-dish pizza.
