For 14 years, Raul Perez has prioritized relating to his clients above all else. “Being able to connect with people has been my secret sauce, and is instrumental in keeping clients engaged and happy.” Perez is a senior home lending advisor at JPMorgan Chase where he manages various types of loans and lending programs, including mortgages for first-time homebuyers; products through FHA, VA and conventional means; and refinancing loans.
Before transitioning to real estate, Perez worked in finance at a small company managing personal, vehicle and home equity loans. While there, he honed his ability to sell loans with a wide spectrum of rates, as well as work with clients to achieve their goals. Perez eventually transitioned to a large mortgage company where he was hired as an account executive managing loans over the phone across the United States.
Now with several years of experience, Perez works hard to educate customers and surpass their expectations. He draws on his diverse array of experiences in lending to intuit what will and will not work and lead his customers down the best path. Perez relies on face-to-face interactions with his customers to build confidence and foster a good relationship. “Customers trust me enough to call me at any point during the transaction, and ask any questions no matter the day or time. They trust me to give them the right information and feel at ease about their transaction, knowing that it’s moving in the right direction,” he says.
Perez’s work has earned him various accolades. In 2018 and 2019, he was named one of the top 250 Hispanic loan originators by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, of which he is a member.
In his spare time, Perez likes to explore the outdoors by hiking, biking and running. He also loves to fly and has a private pilot’s license.
