Laura Fitzpatrick, Senior Broker

@properties

At a young age, Laura Fitzpatrick gained experience in real estate working with her older sister, a commercial broker. It sparked her interest in the industry and desire to pursue a career in residential real estate.

As an adult, she got her official start in the industry working for a Chicago-based real estate developer, a position that did not require a real estate license. Eventually, she took a job with Coldwell Banker in Winnetka and began selling homes to friends and family.

In 2009, she joined @properties and her career really took off. Now a senior broker with the firm and 10-year resident of Kenilworth, Fitzpatrick assists everyone from first-time to luxury buyers and sellers on the North Shore. “I love helping people find homes,” says Fitzpatrick. “It never feels like work for me.”

Most recently, @properties gifted Fitzpatrick a Rolex watch for being among its top producers. She is also ranked among the top 5% of agents by the North-Shore Barrington Association of Realtors and was listed as a top agent by Chicago magazine in 2019. This past year, she was honored to earn the listing for a managing broker’s home in Wilmette and assist the family with their subsequent purchase.

Honest and hardworking, Fitzpatrick makes every client feel like they are the only one she is representing by listening to their needs, always following up with them and keeping her word. “The relationship doesn’t end at closing,” she says. “I stay in touch with my clients and help them get comfortable with their town and new home.”

As a working mom, Fitzpatrick feels blessed to be part of an industry with so many strong women who have been balancing work and life for years. “They are true role models to me,” she says. Active in the community, she runs a chapter of the Saints Joseph & Francis Xavier Women’s Club in Wilmette.
