Lori Rowe is all about her clients. “Once I get to know someone, I will move heaven and earth to get the job done,” says Rowe, a broker with Coldwell Banker Realty. With 70% of her business coming from referrals and repeat customers, she specializes in relocations, local upgrades and downsizing, and luxury homes throughout the northern and northwestern suburbs.
Rowe says that her previous roles as a customer service representative, elementary school teacher, aerobics instructor, Ford assembly line worker and manager at Allstate Insurance were the perfect preparation for real estate. “I learned how to handle all sorts of people and adapt to fit their different styles,” she says, adding that throughout her professional life, she has abided by the golden rule and sees integrity as the essential key to good business.
Since earning Coldwell Banker’s Rookie of the Year award 34 years ago, Rowe has consistently ranked as a top producer with Coldwell Banker in Chicagoland. For almost a decade, she’s been named a Five Star Professional by Chicago magazine, and in 2015, she was voted “Best Dressed Agent in Chicagoland” by Chicago Agent magazine. Rowe is a Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier Club member and among the company’s top 1,000 agents in the country. She has won the Online Marketing Excellence Award and is No. 1 in her office this year.
Rowe is a member of the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation board, through which she serves meals to families at the Ronald McDonald House and works with the nonprofit Special Spaces to create dream bedrooms for chronically and terminally ill children. Additionally, she serves on the board of directors for Parker Players in Barrington and has helped with Blessings in a Backpack, the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and Relay for Life of Barrington.
Outside of work, Rowe is an avid tennis and pickleball player and never misses her daughter’s performances as the lead vocalist for One Night Band in Chicago.
