Helping people buy and sell real estate comes naturally to Kevin Kelly. For 15 years, Kelly, a broker with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, has served clients throughout Chicago, turning his passion for building relationships and his love of the city into a full-time job. “I would do this for free if I didn’t need an income,” he says. “It’s a highly stressful process for most people, and I like being there to manage it.”
Born and raised in Garfield Ridge, Kelly has lived in Printers Row, the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, the South Loop, Lakeview and Tri-Taylor, making him an expert in each neighborhood’s unique amenities and appeal. Since earning his license after a career as a financial adviser at Morgan Stanley, he has served more than 400 clients, leveraging his experience managing retirement and investment solutions as a competitive edge.
With a business based 100% on referrals and repeat clients, Kelly combines his hands-on, community-centric brokerage model with today’s industry standards. “I treat my clients as if they were family members,” he says, adding that he continues to check in on them to ensure their satisfaction weeks after closing a deal. “I listen and practice empathy to really feel and connect with my clients during a highly emotional period of time.”
Outside of work, Kelly is a lifelong baseball player and fan and still loves to watch games live.
