Owner of Atlas Title & Escrow and ARK Attorneys-at-Law, Imran Khan represents buyers and sellers in Chicago and the surrounding counties, assisting them with contracts, negotiations, inspections and title transfers.

An attorney with eight years of experience, Khan is one of the youngest title and escrow company owners in the nation and prides himself on leading one of the most technologically advanced real estate law firms in the state. “My vision and goal are to make the closing process easily accessible in electronic form and online,” he says.

Finding his calling as a child after observing the legal proceedings at the Century 21 office in Albany Park where his father worked, Khan quickly identified ways to close the gaps in communication between parties. Due to this focus, he has invested heavily in workflow productions, contact relationship management software, and text and artificial intelligence systems to improve the efficiency and ease of residential real estate transactions for both clients and attorneys.

Despite the firm’s adoption of a technology-driven business model, Khan is committed to making closings a fun and lively experience. “My team and I are passionate about what we do and find joy in our work,” he says.

Khan is a member of GoBundance, an accountability group of entrepreneurs. As a philanthropist, Khan supports a nonprofit hospital in Bangladesh that his late uncle built in his grandmother’s village. “I decided to donate the hospital to Ovi International, a nonprofit children’s organization in Kenya now operating in my grandmother’s village,” he explains. “We decided to give properties in the village to an orphanage, which is anticipated to launch in October of this year.”
