Always looking to grow professionally and adapt to his clients’ needs, Geoffrey Zureikat has experience in all facets of residential real estate, from rentals to sales to opening his own brokerage. But he’s still acquiring new skills and techniques, particularly since joining Compass this past August. “Being able to work with other high-caliber agents has really been beneficial in terms of learning new things about the business,” says Zureikat, principal and team leader of Z Chicago.
Specializing in first-time homebuyers, sellers and investors, as well as renovation projects, Zureikat serves his clients directly, promising quick response times and brutal honesty. “I advise people against buying or selling when it’s not a good financial decision,” he says. “I would rather lose a commission than have a client lose their hard-earned money.”
Zureikat takes the time to understand his clients’ goals and timeline, beginning each transaction with an initial phone call followed by an in-person meeting. “I feel fortunate that, after almost a decade of showings, thousands of client meetings, and countless offers and negotiations, I’ve seen my fair share of situations and know how to navigate them,” he says. “Since I know most buildings in the neighborhoods I specialize in, I can usually anticipate which properties my buyers will like best and guide their search accordingly.”
Recognized as a top producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors in 2018, Zureikat is a member of both the Top Agent Network and CAR’s Young Professionals Network. He also supports All Chicago, an organization dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness. He and his wife live in the West Loop and enjoy taking walks with their dog, Leo, and exploring new markets.
