Chloé Ifergan, Broker

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Before becoming a Realtor, Chloé Ifergan was the advertising, marketing and social media director for the Charles Ifergan hair salons, where she managed a team of more than 60 employees. “My father launched his chain of salons over 45 years ago after emigrating from Paris,” Ifergan says. “He instilled an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for real estate in me at an early age.”

Born and raised in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, Ifergan has an intimate understanding of the city’s diverse communities, which she draws upon to help guide her clients through the complexities of the real estate market. “While buying or selling a home is an exciting time in one’s life, it also has the potential to bring unwanted stress,” Ifergan says. “As a seasoned real estate broker, I strive to give my clients a seamless and low-stress experience from our initial meeting to the closing.”

Recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors as one of Chicago’s top-producing agents, Ifergan is driven but patient with her clients. “Each client has different expectations, so I ask a lot of questions and find out what their expectations are in advance,” she says. “While it’s a very serious transaction, I try to make the process fun at the same time.”

Accessible, responsive and knowledgeable, Ifergan is also known as an expert negotiator. “My clients know that I always have their best interests in mind and really listen to what their needs are,” she says.

A graduate of the Latin School of Chicago, Ifergan speaks both French and Spanish and has dual citizenship in the U.S. and France. She is a board member of the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, which supports research and innovation with breast cancer, and the Lyon Family Foundation, which seeks to bring meaningful access and opportunity to Chicago’s at-risk youth. In her downtime, Ifergan enjoys traveling, taking part in Chicago’s restaurant scene, reading a good novel and working out.
