April Kalad, Realtor

Coldwell Banker Realty

For April Kalad, client happiness has always been her main priority. She became a top producer early in her career and is well respected and trusted by clients and colleagues alike. A combination of likability, humility, humor and to-the-point professional guidance keeps her business on track and helps her make lifelong clients.

Through her past experience as a paralegal specializing in real estate foreclosures, Kalad has always had a passion for the real estate industry. She holds a background in interior design, and as an entrepreneur by nature, she found that becoming an independent broker was the perfect way to use both her creative and technical skills. Today, Kalad is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, specializing in residential real estate, relocation, staging, foreclosures and short sales for clients throughout the southwestern suburbs of Chicago and abroad. She serves all types of clients, and being a native of the area in which she works helps her further connect with the market.

Clients view Kalad as personable and approachable. “I go above and beyond to communicate with my clients so that they always know what to expect and what our next steps are,” she explains. “I’m honest about value, and I’m able to paint a clear picture so that there are few surprises along the way.”

By ensuring a client-centric experience in which she continuously has their best interests in mind, Kalad has been able to earn much of her business through referrals alone. “I’m a personal person, and I work hard,” she says. “That’s pretty much what has driven my referral base.”

Coldwell Banker inducted Kalad into its International Diamond Society for being among the top 10% of agents nationwide in 2019. She is also a member of Coldwell Banker’s Global Luxury division, as well as the National Association of Realtors. When not working, Kalad enjoys being outdoors, doing home improvement projects, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
