A strong believer that finding the right home is personal, Al Schwartz is happy to show clients the ins and outs of different neighborhoods based on his own experiences in them.
Schwartz, a broker with Fulton Grace, grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and currently lives in the West Loop. “I’ve spent a lot of time in different neighborhoods across the city, exploring what makes each unique,” he says. “It has helped me best help my clients, based on what they’re looking for and their personalities.”
Schwartz specializes in first-time buyers, multi-unit investors, and the listing and selling of investment properties in Avondale, Humboldt Park, Jefferson Park, Logan Square and Portage Park. Knowing these areas well from his previous career owning franchises throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, Schwartz has a leg up. “I had to travel to many different neighborhoods and really do my research on each one before setting up a business there,” he says. “It has helped me better understand the questions I need to ask for my clients and be more strategic and business-oriented.”
Throughout his four years in real estate, Schwartz has always made sure to keep clients well informed of the process from start to finish, whether they are first-time homebuyers or investing in another property. “I want them to know and understand what’s ahead,” he says. “So, I lay out their options and clearly explain how I can be the most helpful in each unique situation.” He already has successfully navigated the different obstacles that can come up during the transaction process, from short sales to delays in financing to less-than-perfect inspections, always remaining a calm and trusted advocate for his clients.
“Owning a home is part of the American dream,” he says. “I find great joy in helping people find their first home and upgrade or downgrade their living space, depending on their stage in life.”
