Born and raised in the Chicagoland suburbs, each member of The Sarah Leonard Team comes with an array of knowledge and personal experience that has helped them reach the high level of success they enjoy today.
The team has seen impressive growth recently, receiving the RE/MAX 100 Percent Club recognition in 2018. Switching two years ago from new-construction sales to the resale market was “a welcome change” for Tori Morrison. And it definitely paid off; in 2018, she won the RE/MAX Five Star Professional Rising Star award. “Being in my third year, I can reflect back in certainty that I made the right decision by switching,” she says. June Kim closed over $8 million in sales last year alone. Melissa Williams was thrilled to have tripled her business from the previous year after joining the team. Laura Parker has learned to “take control and be confident in order to gain trust from clients.”
Everyone brings experience from other fields. Morrison held jobs in retail management and employee recruitment. “I pride myself on being versatile and being able to help all different kinds of people at different stages in their lives,” she says. In her free time, Morrison works with her husband on the fixer-upper home they bought. Williams worked in cardiopulmonary rehab and understands connections are key to her success. “I really get to know each client, along with their families, which creates lifelong relationships,” she says. “Clients quickly turn into friends.” In her free time, Williams loves spending time outdoors with family and her Australian shepherd, Oliver. Prior to real estate, Kim was with State Farm Insurance. Each morning, she is excited to go to work. “I don’t think of my job as work, because I thoroughly enjoy what I do,” she says. Before joining the team, Parker managed a portfolio of commercial office buildings. As a foodie, she loves trying new recipes and restaurants.
The team volunteers with a local food pantry, Habitat for Humanity, Hands of Hope and Fellowship Housing, among other charitable organizations. They hope to expand their market influence and reach throughout the Chicagoland real estate industry.
