LG Construction + Development co-partners Matt Wilke, COO, and Brian Goldberg, CEO, along with chief sales and marketing officer Amy Lusher, have an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service across the luxury residential, commercial and hospitality markets. “Our client base is extensive and growing exponentially every year,” they explain, noting that LG is comprised of development, design and construction sister companies. “Each team offers different skills and abilities that allows for LG to fill gaps that others can’t. By having them all under one roof, we’re able to foster a collaborative environment with both our partners and clients, ensuring that everyone feels heard throughout the duration of a project.”

In 2018, the company received the Chicago Landmark Award for Preservation Excellence for their work on The Plymouth, a historic South Loop building that the team converted into 30 fully-furnished two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments. It also was presented with a Key Award from the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago for a multi-unit condominium project in River North. “Our aptitude to adjust to market needs is unlike any other,” the team says. “We’re nimble enough to take on projects that other developers or contractors aren’t able to and turn them into thriving successful projects.”

LG is the construction force behind the brand-new event and restaurant space RPM On the Water and, along with its development and design teams, has recently taken on Trailhead on the 606, a 109-unit mixed use apartment building with direct access to the 606 elevated trail. “By treating all projects, no matter the size, with the same respect and quality, our client retention and referrals are constant,” they say.

LG’s team members are active volunteers: Wilke, Goldberg, and Lusher support Designs for Dignity, the Jackson Chance Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, among other organizations. The LG partners have also founded three of their own charities: Camp Out for Kids, Pariah Foundation and Herban Produce, all of which work directly to enhance the lives of those within the greater Chicago community.
