Deena Schencker, Vice President of Sales

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Luxury is a level of service, not a price point, according to Deena Schencker, vice president of sales at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. “I treat clients like I would want to be treated,” she says. “Service is paramount.” Schencker assists all categories of buyers, sellers and investors in the city and on the North Shore. Thanks to Jameson Sotheby’s global platform, her listings and brand gain exposure all over the world.

“I look to align myself with my clients to see how I can bring value to their lives,” she says. “My greatest satisfaction is when a client tells me I was able to provide them with a level of service that enhanced their life.”

Prior to real estate, Schencker was vice president of sales and marketing at FedEx. In the past year, Jameson Sotheby’s recognized her with the company’s Founder’s Award. Every year, agents and staff vote on the person who best exemplifies Jameson Sotheby’s commitment to leadership, excellence, ethics, high educational standards and advocacy, while also continuing to promote the company and strive for excellence in their own business.

Schencker has achieved every goal she set for herself this year. For the remainder of 2019, she is looking forward to helping others by mentoring and coaching agents who are new to the business.

To take her career to the next level, Schencker earned an MBA and her managing broker’s license as well as the designations of Real Estate Negotiation Expert and Accredited Buyer’s Representative.

Named a Top Producer by both the Chicago Association of Realtors and Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, she is president of the Givers Gain Network at Business Network International Chicago and a member of the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago and Columbia Yacht Club’s Women on the Water.

Certified to teach yoga and an avid sailor, Schencker enjoys fitness in any form. As a concierge to her clients, she stays on top of restaurant openings and other city hot spots. She has served on the board of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago for more than 15 years, always striving to give back to the community.
