Dedicated to paving clear paths to homeownership, Jorge A. Flores provides clients with the financial solutions they need to achieve their dreams. Flores, the vice president of banking at Neighborhood Loans Inc., has 22 years of experience in mortgage lending and has mastered both the technical and interpersonal skills needed to navigate the industry. The majority of his clients are first-time homebuyers who require someone to explain the process from beginning to end.
Frequently working with clients who were previously denied a mortgage, Flores strives to maintain a positive attitude and tailors his business strategies to match each situation. This past year, Flores was named one of Neighborhood Loans’ Top Producing Loan Officers and was inducted into its President’s Club. For the last four years, he has been ranked among the top 250 loan officers in the country by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
“I owe a great deal of my success to Suzy Morales, my loan partner, and Grisly Garcia, my processor, as their hard work and dedication have helped me build a foundation for my business,” he says.
Flores was first introduced to mortgage lending through his first job as an assistant at a local bank. “My employer saw the potential and drive that I had to help others and offered me a position as a loan officer,” he says. “I was given extensive training and took it upon myself to take extra courses to expand my knowledge.”
Flores is a member of the Young Professionals Network and the Chicago Association of Realtors. As the son of a single immigrant mother who instilled in him humility and a strong work ethic, Flores is committed to supporting his family while caring for his clients. “Nothing beats the smile my clients have at the closing table,” he says.
