Chad & Sarah Gilbert, Owners

RE/MAX Suburban and Precision Title Company

Since purchasing RE/MAX Suburban in 2015 and acquiring Precision Title two years later, Chad and Sarah Gilbert have channeled their entrepreneurial spirits into a full-service brokerage. With 17 offices around Chicagoland and an expert team of agents, RE/MAX Suburban and Precision Title serve local commercial and residential clients, partnering closely with attorneys to ensure a seamless process for all parties involved.

“We are a business that builds businesses,” says Sarah. “We support our agents as individuals and as business owners. The coaching, consulting and accountability that RE/MAX Suburban provides creates an environment for the best entrepreneurs in the business to thrive. They want freedom and professionalism surrounded by productive agents, so we’ve made that our purpose.”

Before acquiring the franchise, both Sarah and Chad held executive-level positions with large corporations, preparing them for their future as leaders of the largest RE/MAX company in Illinois and 15th largest in the nation. “Sarah’s passion for teaching and mentoring, as well as her certifications in process excellence and coaching, are invaluable as we build out agent services and growth programs,” says Chad, adding that Sarah manages the marketing, operations and development aspects of the business.

Last year marked an expansion for both the RE/MAX Suburban and Precision Title teams and a continued emphasis on investing in technology to streamline and improve service. In 2018, RE/MAX Suburban surpassed $1 billion in transaction volume, with each agent averaging 19 transactions. The brokerage also ranked among the Swanepoel Mega 1000 and qualified for the REAL Trends 500. “Our agents have the experience to navigate a dynamic market,” they say.

In 2019, Chad served his first year as a Category 1 representative on Midwest Real Estate Data LLC’s board of managers. “We’ve got some very big decisions ahead, and I’m honored to take on this market leadership role,” he says.

With altruism at the forefront of its business model, RE/MAX Suburban has a long-standing partnership with the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. In 2018 alone, RE/MAX Suburban agents donated more than $55,000 through a golf fundraising event and individual donations on behalf of clients.
