Before she found her way into real estate, Elizabeth Gretz owned three wedding-related businesses in Chicago. Though she switched industries 11 years ago, her real estate career still allows her to fulfill her passion of helping people through a major life event.
Once Gretz had her three children, she realized she needed a change in both her career and her living space. She now works as a broker for Coldwell Banker Residential on The Gretz Team, serving the western suburbs and Chicago’s Near North Side. The team works with both buyers and sellers, and Gretz specifically loves to help clients make the transition from the city to the suburbs like she did. In fact, the team produces a newsletter called “The Western Suburban Excursion.”
Last year, Gretz was able to exceed her production goals and had the highest individual volume of all agents in her office. Her team also launched a local lifestyle publication titled “Live and Laugh in Naperville.” The publication is an extension of a book Gretz wrote and published, now in its second edition. Working with an energetic team has allowed Gretz to succeed in multiple facets of the business. “I am surrounded by a clever, thoughtful, creative and hardworking team,” she says. “Their sole focus is to ensure a seamless and successful outcome for all our clients.”
Gretz has earned several certifications throughout her career. She is a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert and an accredited staging professional, as well as being certified to serve the luxury market. She is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.
In her free time, Gretz enjoys spending time with her husband and children, as well as volunteering throughout Naperville. She sits on the board of the Alive Center and volunteers with both the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation and Bridge Communities.
