Before even graduating college, @properties broker Susan Panozzo ran a multimillion-dollar clothing store. However, she found herself longing to move in a different direction. As it would turn out, her experience in the highest levels of sales and management lent itself to an easy transition into the customer service-oriented world of real estate. “I had always been interested in pursuing real estate, but didn’t know how to get started,” she says. “I started working for a leasing company and instantly fell in love with it, and was licensed as a broker just a couple months later.”
Panozzo’s rise to success began with a number of rental transactions and home sales. One year later, she was hired as the exclusive leasing agent for a large portfolio of luxury properties on Chicago’s North Side. The experience of leasing and managing luxury properties gave her a uniquely well-rounded perspective on the multifaceted business of real estate. This has allowed Panozzo to grow her client base year after year without sacrificing the individualized service that she is known for. Now, in her seventh year in the business, Panozzo finally feels as though she has reached a lifelong goal. In addition to working with buyers and sellers, she also works with an active group of international investors from Australia and Europe.
Panozzo is a member of both the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). For the past three years, CAR has recognized Panozzo as a Top Producer.
When Panozzo is not working, she is embarking on adventures. She recently hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, sailed around Ha Long Bay in Vietnam and went skydiving in the Florida Keys. She is also an avid lover of animals and supporter of the Special Olympics, having achieved record-setting fundraising for the Chicago Polar Plunge.
