Ivonne Payes and Luigui Corral, Broker/Owners

RE/MAX American Dream

RE/MAX American Dream

With over two decades of combined real estate experience and a 13-year professional working relationship, it was only natural that in 2017, Luigui Corral and Ivonne Payes joined forces and opened RE/MAX American Dream. Sharing the same work ethic, family morals and love for their industry, it was the obvious next step for the duo whose professional relationship grew into a family-like bond. Being immigrants themselves, they believe they are proof that the American Dream can turn into a reality — hence the name of their franchise. Their goal was to create an office that is not only theirs, but for their agents’ families as well. The #DreamTeam, as they fondly call them, reflect strong family values and the office culture embodies that.

Specializing in markets of northern Cook, Lake and McHenry counties, Payes and Corral work with residential and commercial buyers, sellers and investors, and they have an extensive track record of buying and selling single-family homes, multi-unit properties, condos, vacant lots and storefronts.

Payes’ background in real estate law and Corral’s degree in business administration and computer programming have proven to be a powerful combination, helping them provide seamless service and stay ahead of competition. “We treat every customer that calls or walks in our doors as family and we take pride in every aspect of our workmanship. Our business model is to offer a concierge service like no other — from listing to sold, negotiating contracts, sales, marketing and staging, we go above and beyond for our clients.”

Their success doesn’t come without their fair share of accolades: In 2017, Payes and Corral were recognized by RE/MAX for their achievements. Payes was inducted into the Platinum Club for the second year in a row, while Corral earned entry into the Elite Chairman’s Club. Both are members of the Mainstreet Association of Realtors, the North Shore–Barrington Association of Realtors and the Chicago Association of Realtors. Corral serves on the ethics committee for the National Association of Realtors and is on the board of directors for Mano a Mano, a nonprofit organization in Lake and McHenry counties. Payes is the 2018 treasurer for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. Both are Certified Negotiation Experts.

When not working, Payes volunteers with her church and has recently taken up hiking. Corral is an avid soccer fan and enjoys playing soccer with his sons and friends.
