Real Estate Broker
Dan Kieres has always been a playmaker. A former three-time All-State basketball player, he once scored eight points in the final 28 seconds of a game to advance his high school team to a school-best Super- Sectional appearance in the state playoffs. These days, Kieres is still making plays, except now his playing field is the thriving Chicagoland real estate market.
Kieres is enjoying a record-setting start to 2016 and credits his success to his authenticity and honesty. “Real estate sales is all about trust between broker and client. Consumers in today’s marketplace favor a straightforward and down-to-earth approach rather than dealing with artificial sales tactics or greasy talk tracks. People need to believe in you and trust in you, especially when you’re involved in a very serious transaction involving hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
Kieres has a wide range of expertise and experience that includes working
with buyers, working with sellers, flipping property, and building long-term investment strategies through income property. “I work tirelessly for clients and I love what I do, so it never feels like work. I am laser-focused on being an asset to my clients before, during, and after the transaction.”
Ever since he can remember, Kieres has always had a passion for real estate. “I actually named my dog ‘Ozzie’ after a street in Edison Park (Ozanam) where I conducted my first real estate deal. The diverse culture, heritage and architecture in each one of Chicago’s communities makes this an amazing city to live and work in.”
His drive for success and passion on the basketball court have carried over into his real estate career, propelling him to the receipt of his company’s Rising Star award in 2015.
“I’ve been in the industry for over three years and I can tell you that it’s not always about having the most talent. The most successful people I’ve seen are the ones that just never give up and are relentless in their pursuit of their dreams and goals. Failure never discouraged me. Instead, it motivated me and helped me get to where I am today.”
