Michael Gobber, managing broker and partner of CENTURY 21 Circle in Westchester, was named Illinois REALTOR® of the Year for 2025 by Illinois REALTORS®. Gobber began his real estate career in 1999 and, over the years, has served in association leadership roles at the local, state and national levels.
Locally, Gobber was president of Mainstreet REALTORS® in 2019. In 2021, he was that association’s REALTOR® of the Year.
At the state level, Gobber is a long-time member of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and, in 2023, served as president.
For the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Gobber has been as a director since 2020 and, currently, the Regional Vice President for Region 7, representing Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin He’s also a 2021 graduate of NAR’s Leadership Academy and has served on multiple NAR committees.
Additionally, Gobber is part of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame, which recognizes lifetime contributions of at least $25,000.
Outside of real estate, Gobber has spent 15 years on the Westchester Chamber of Commerce, one as president. He also volunteers with the Westchester Fest Committee, Veterans Day Run Committee, the Westchester Fest Economic Development Committee, the BEDS Plus emergency housing program the Divine Infant Jesus Catholic Church.
Gobber will accept the award for Illinois REALTOR® of the Year on April 28 at a celebration in Springfield.
