Edyta “Edith” Schell, Real Estate Agent

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

Growing up playing “office” at her aunt’s brokerage, Edith Schell was destined for success in the industry. Upon leaving the corporate world as a marketing and advertising professional with NBC, becoming licensed was a natural next step. A polished professional who understands that no two transactions are alike, she works with residential clients in the city of Chicago and its northwest suburbs.

Schell has lived and worked across the Chicago metro area and brings extensive market knowledge and 12 years of experience to each client interaction. An organized professional, Schell is process-driven and communicative while striving to make the process stress-free. “My clients love working with me because I am honest and we have a great time,” says Schell. “This is typically a very stressful time, so making it a good experience is something that is very important to me.” With every new client, she begins with an informative meeting where she learns about their goals, sets expectations and partners with them for a seamless real estate journey.

Though she receives most clientele through referral, Schell also utilizes social media and other third-party platforms as marketing tools. Seeking a fresh change, she recently made the brave decision to switch brokerages after 11 years. She now adds to her toolkit the broad resources made available to her by @properties Christie’s International Real Estate.

A member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Schell was named a top producer by the organization for the past three years. About last year’s success, she shares, “I had an amazing fourth quarter in 2022. When things were slowing down due to the rates increasing, I surprisingly had a lot of activity … my clients can rely on me to get them to the next level.” Outside of work, the mother of two active teenagers is kept busy with volunteer activities at her children’s schools.
