Justin Greenberg, Residential Realtor and Team Lead

Early in his career, Justin Greenberg learned an important lesson: find out what’s driving a client’s decision to buy or sell and lead with that. “It’s never about what I think,” admits Greenberg, a residential Realtor and team lead at The JG Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago. “It’s about what’s going to be the best financial and practical decision for my clients.”

Greenberg serves buyers and sellers, from first-time to luxury, in the North Shore and northwest suburbs, areas he grew up in. He started The JG Group in 2019 to better serve all potential clients. “As an individual agent, it can be challenging to balance work, family, being healthy and having a social life,” he says. “With a team, there’s the ability to delegate and be able to service everyone while maintaining balance in your life.”

Greenberg takes an advisory role with each client, educating and guiding them throughout the process. He has the ability to put clients at ease about their decision to buy or sell and is a good listener, qualities that help him connect with clients and earn their trust.

“I try to get answers and be available to them as much as possible,” he says. “I’m there for them upfront, during the process and do my best to stay in touch long after the sale is closed.”

A highlight of his 16 years in the industry is achieving Chairman’s Circle Platinum status within the International Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network the past two consecutive years. The honor ranks his team in the top 1% of agents within the company based on production volume and units. A nine-time recipient of the Five-Star Professional award, he is among the top 5% of agents at the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors and is consistently recognized on Homesnap as a top-producing broker.
