Javier Garcia, Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending

The Federal Savings Bank

At the age of 16, Javier Garcia was offered a job working for a prominent loan officer, marking the beginning of his journey in the finance industry. Just a few years later, he obtained his originator’s license and became the youngest senior vice president at The Federal Savings Bank. With an impressive 23 years of experience, Garcia credits real estate and finance for equipping him with the resilience to handle any kind of stress. Raised in Chicago and now a resident of Glenview in northwest Chicago, he considers his ability to genuinely connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds to be one of his greatest strengths.

Garcia takes pride in his ability to support clients while simultaneously mentoring his team of mortgage bankers, pushing them to new heights. Known for his organizational skills and interpersonal finesse, he sets client expectations with a blend of lightheartedness and authenticity. “The most important aspect of our team is our intentional approach to solving our clients’ problems,” he emphasizes. “We firmly believe that listening to their needs is paramount.” Garcia nurtures his staff with thoughtful guidance, ensuring they adopt business practices that benefit both themselves and their clients, all while acknowledging their contributions. Grateful for the support of his team, he notes that they are the reason he can actively participate in his son’s life as a devoted father.

Recognizing that each loan and every client’s requirements are unique, Garcia leverages his extensive experience to design tailored loan solutions.

In addition to actively participating in his local Realtor association, Garcia is deeply committed to serving his community. One noteworthy achievement from the past year includes his homeless outreach initiative, in which he and his girlfriend and industry colleague Leticia Andrade fed over 360 individuals!
