Learning strong values and the importance of effective communication at a very young age, Patty Moran-Barocio continues to bring those lessons to her real estate business today. “I was only about nine years old when my family owned and operated a business in Lincoln Park,” Moran-Barocio shares. “I quickly learned how important it is to listen to customers and provide true service and integrity to them.” Known for tailoring everything she does to each individual client, she provides consistency, transparency, and open communication.
A residential real estate broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, Moran-Barocio is licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. She is bilingual and a certified negotiation expert and sellers representative specialist serving Chicagoland and surrounding suburbs since 2012. “I’ve been lucky to have some wise mentors in my life who taught me so much,” she admits. “I built my own business on the foundation of integrity and reputation for service.”
A women’s empowerment advocate, Moran-Barocio enjoys meeting people from all different backgrounds with diverse wants and needs. She is known for her excellent communication skills and the ability to walk her clients through every step of the buying and selling process. “It’s all about treating my clients the way I would want to be treated,” she explains. “I am lucky enough to assist them in finding their dream home, in their next chapter, and I never take that for granted.” In 2020’s challenging environment, that meant staying determined and creative when it came to getting around barriers and adapting to health guidelines.
Moran-Barocio was recently part of rolling out the new BHHS Chicago Move Confidently campaign which introduced the company’s new brand vision and their Move Confidently anthem. A former board member with Mary Pence and a member of the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce, Moran-Barocio was awarded The President’s Circle in 2021, named an Honor Society honoree with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in 2018-2019 and a winner of the Leading-Edge Society in 2017 and 2020.
