Wanting to be part of an industry that allows women to take ownership of their own goals, Jane Lee entered real estate. Lee, a broker and president of The Jane Lee Team at RE/MAX Top Performers, has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Fuzhou University in China and a master’s degree in computer science from Loyola University Chicago, in addition to completing coursework in marketing at Northern Illinois University. It’s a background that has served her well.
A dedicated Realtor member, Lee leads the group that has been ranked the No. 1 RE/MAX team in Northern Illinois for 15 consecutive years. “Our marketing is truly unprecedented among competitors, and our clients are always pointing that out,” she says. “My experience has allowed me to grow a reputable name in the industry. That, paired with my knowledge of the real estate market, has enabled me to gain trust with my clients, which has ultimately been the key to my success.”
Trained in Midwest Real Estate Data’s multiple listing service, Lee is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and an expert in serving relocation clients. Lee also works with luxury buyers, first-time buyers, sellers, and builders in the greater Chicago area, focusing primarily on Lake County and northern Cook County. She specializes in working with clients transitioning to the luxury market. A highlight of the past year was selling 413 Caesar Drive in Barrington Hills for $2.25 million in just over two months, after the home had been listed with another agent for 191 days without success.
Continuing to expand her team by recruiting administrative and agent talent, Lee carefully trains her staff to ensure they have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Clients often rave about the team’s concierge service, trustworthiness and ability to sell homes quickly.
Lee advertises listings on social media, international marketing platform Juwai, Zillow, realtor.com and the team’s website, as well as in direct mail pieces. In recognition of her volunteer work, Lee accepted the 2017 Commander’s Award from Marine Air Control Group 48 for her involvement in their Toys for Tots program.
