RE/MAX Professionals out of Bolingbrook has merged with RE/MAX Premier as of July 1. 

The company, which has served Bolingbrook and the surrounding areas since 1978, will continue operating as RE/MAX Professionals with its 12 agents and office manager Barb Kurz.

Edward Lukasik Jr. acquired the company in 2010, and his sister, Michell Lukasik, eventually joined him in ownership. As the second generation of the Lukasik family to join RE/MAX, Lukasik Jr. has closed more than 3,500 home sales since 2001 and has been named the No. 1 RE/MAX agent in Illinois multiple times. Their father, Edward Lukasik Sr., spent more than four
decades as a RE/MAX agent.
