Laura Thon has been promoted to the role of assistant managing broker for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago’s (BHHS Chicago) West Region. Prior to that, she was an award-winning broker with the firm’s Glen Ellyn office.

In 2024, Thon closed nearly $6 million in sales. In 2023, she earned BHHS Chicago’s Chairman’s Circle Gold Award for sales excellence, placing her among the top 2% of brokers nationally. In 2022, she completed BHHS Chicago’s Exclusive Transform Agent Coaching program. She’s also active at the association level. She is a past chair of the Mainstreet Association of REALTORS®’ Young Professionals Network and a past president of the West Suburban Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

Of her promotion, she added, “I’m looking forward to helping BHHS Chicago west suburban brokers learn, grow and achieve even more than they thought they could in this new role. BHHS Chicago’s West Region covers Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, La Grange, Naperville, Evergreen Park and Oak Park. “I know many of our west suburban agents who already know Laura are going to be thrilled for her to take on the assistant managing broker role,” BHHS Chicago CEO Diane Glass said. “And those who don’t know her will really appreciate everything she brings to the table.”
