by Emily Mack

Industry veteran Chris Pezza has joined Corcoran Urban Real Estate as the vice president of development. In this new role, Pezza will oversee the firm’s development arm, its asset and property management division and retail leasing as well as agent development.

Since becoming licensed in 2005, Pezza has gained more than $150 million in sales volume throughout his career. Pezza also graduated as valedictorian of Roosevelt University’s real estate master’s program where he now lectures, leveraging his industry experience for the next generation. He is a real estate educator with the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, too.

“I have been following Chris’ career for almost a decade now, watching him rise to the top of our field and doing it in all the right ways,” Matt Farrell, managing partner at Corcoran Urban Real Estate, told Chicago Agent. “We have served together on various industry committees, and I have long admired his intelligence, his approach and his ethics; I could not be more excited to have someone of his caliber joining the firm.”

“Raising the level of service that clients come to expect from their real estate partner has always been my mission,” Pezza said. “For me, the team at Corcoran sets the standard on white-glove service so it was a natural fit. Joining regional brokerage leaders, with a national platform backing us, provides limitless opportunities to reshape our industry.”
