@properties’ chief operating officer Joni Meyerowitz has been appointed to the company’s board of directors. She serves alongside co-founders and CEOs Mike Golden and Thad Wong, as well as Tim Billings and Jack Walker.
Meyerowitz will help guide operations across the entire @properties portfolio in her new role. This includes Christie’s International Real Estate and its affiliate networks, Suburban Jungle Group, Proper Rate, Proper Title — of which Meyerowitz is the CEO — and brokerages throughout California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin and Virginia.
Meyerowitz worked in consulting for a decade and spent five years as an @properties agent before becoming the COO in 2010. Since then, she’s helped grow @properties from a local brokerage into an international real estate firm with over 4,000 agents and a projected revenue of $700 million for 2022.
She has also helped build @properties’ in-house technology department, overseeing the development of pl@tform™, the company’s suite of brokerage tech.
“From the technology side, I don’t think you will find another executive in our industry who has been able to accomplish what Joni has accomplished as nimbly and as successfully,” Wong said in a press release.
“We are where we are today in large part thanks to the vision Joni had over a decade ago and the hard work she has put in since then as our company has grown and evolved,” Golden said. Both CEOs look forward to her joining the board of directors.
