What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I was a teacher on the South Side of Chicago and a bartender at the famous nightclub Excalibur in downtown Chicago.

Where did you grow up?
I was born in Skokie, but I also lived in Grayslake and Algonquin before I went to college.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
When I was younger I wanted to be a dancer, but I studied elementary education as an undergraduate.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I love to spend time with my 4- and 6-year-old! They make me laugh and forget about my worries! I also enjoy vacations, especially a pool or beach, when I need to unwind.

What is Chicago’s best-kept secret?
Chinatown. I love the food, the park and the ornate architecture.

What do you love most about the industry?
I love meeting people, and I love looking at real estate. It never gets boring or mundane for me. I love being able to help my clients.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I am always willing to go above and beyond in my services. You will find me cleaning, organizing, weeding, gifting or anything I can do to help out the process and make my clients’ lives easier.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Get to know people. There are people everywhere we go. I am never aggressive in getting new leads. I want them to come organically and when it feels right. But never let an opportunity pass by and regret.
