Agents are increasingly satisfied with their current brokerage, ticking up to 81% from last year’s 78% of survey respondents who said they have no plans to head to another brokerage this year. It’s worth noting that two years ago, when we were just entering the beginning stages of the pandemic, only 66% said they had no plans to head to a different brokerage. A mere 4% said they they plan to change brokerages in the next 12 months. Another 15% were on the fence. Agents who are planning on leaving said higher commissions were the biggest motivator at 28%.
