Thomas Krettler of Hoffman Estates has been recognized as the 2018 Realtor of the Year by the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe).

Krettler, a broker with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Schaumburg, has been a MORe Realtor for more than 15 years.

An active member of the real estate community, Krettler served as MORe’s past president from 2011 to 2012, and also served on the National Association of Realtors Board of Directors from 2014–15 and 2017–18. Additionally, he served on Illinois Realtors Board of Directors from 2008 to 2013.

According to MORe, Krettler was particularly instrumental in the association’s growth when he served as co-president during its merger with the Realtor Association of Northwest Chicagoland in 2011. MORe, which provides professional development and education resources to more than 17,000 members, is the largest Realtor member organization in Illinois.

“Thomas’ skills as a Realtor and dedication to his community have made him a valuable asset to his clients, his community and his fellow Realtors,” said John Gormley, CEO of MORe. “We are proud to give him the recognition he deserves and wish him continued success.”
