Just in time for spooky season, Zillow has compiled another list of the 20 best cities for trick-or-treating, and Chicago lands at lucky No. 13.
To determine where trick-or-treaters can get the most amount of candy with the least amount of walking, Zillow looked at factors such as home values, population density, proximity of houses, and the number of children younger than 10.
Last year’s list ranked Chicago at No. 18, but this year, the city rose five spots. Below are the top five best Chicagoland neighborhoods to reap the sweets:
- West DePaul (Lincoln Park)
- Roscoe Village (North Central)
- Belmont Central (West Side)
- Chrysler Village (Clearing)
- Vittum Park (Southwest Side)
