Cook County features some of the top school districts in the country, but which of those districts have the most in-demand housing markets?

A new analysis from realtor.com provides a unique answer to that question. Comparing the median price of the homes in Cook County’s school districts to the overall median price of the county – which is $266,000 – realtor.com then ranked the districts based on the premium that homebuyers spend for properties within the district’s boundaries.

Below, we’ve detailed the Cook County districts with the highest premiums, in addition to information from the state of Illinois on the districts’ performance and per-pupil spending:
