Jameson Sotheby’s and Hunter Fairway Sotheby’s Join Forces in Barrington

by Kathryn June Ryan

UnknownOn Tuesday, August 4, Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty announced that it will join forces with Hunter’s Fairway Sotheby’s International Realty in acquiring two Barrington offices.

Both having goals in meeting the Chicagoland area’s luxury real estate needs, the collaboration of these two Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates is a logical step forward. Chris Feurer, CEO of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, explained some the goals he hopes to achieve with the use of the new offices.

“No one company is dominating the luxury market currently, and the acquisition of Barrington puts us one step closer to our goal of dominating the luxury market.”

Located at 101 South Wynstone Park Drive and 100 East Station Street, the new Barrington offices will expand short- and long-term growth opportunities. The global reach of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty allows this expansion to be a smooth transition for clients, brokers and agents. Connie Antoniou, the owner of Hunter’s Fairway Sotheby’s International Realty, spoke about the benefits of uniting the brokerages in relation to the luxury market.

“Together we have shared a common vision under the Sotheby’s International Realty umbrella,” said Antoniou. “Merging our brokerages will allow us to provide the support and services of a large brokerage, while maintaining a local boutique feel our clients have grown to love. I look forward to continuing the Sotheby’s International Realty momentum as a leader in luxury real estate.”
