Chicagoland’s Busiest Suburban Housing Markets in March

We reported earlier on Chicago-wide housing numbers, but what of the suburbs?

In March, home sales in the Chicagoland area declined 11.1 percent year-over-year, while low inventory continued to push median home price, which rose 12.9 percent.

How did those macro trends, though, look at the micro, suburb-by-suburb level? To find out, we combed through MRED data provided by our friends at MORe, and put together the following graph, which shows the top 10 suburban markets in Chicagoland by home sales in March:

    Nice article, Peter. Always like the graphics. Naperville has always been a nice place to work and live. Although, I am a big fan of Aurora as well. There is great value in both towns and available inventory is decent, too. Thanks for sharing!
