@properties, the Chicago area’s largest independent real estate brokerage, has announced the launch of its new company website. The completely redesigned site features a brand new look and integrates everything from in-depth neighborhood information and local market trends to social media sharing.
“The goal with this redesign was to end up with the most user-friendly, data-rich and attractive local real estate website,” said @properties co-founder Thaddeus Wong. “At @properties, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide cutting-edge technology and resources that are valuable to our agents, clients and the community. This new website is a prime example of that.”
The website has a new enhanced property search function that allows users to search all properties on the Chicago area Multiple Listing Service by neighborhood, price, property type, schools, transportation and more. Each listing contains a detailed page with large photos, floor plans and maps that feature nearby shopping, dining, public transportation and a parking availability rating powered by Parknav. Users can conveniently email listings or share them on their Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google Plus accounts. Separate sections for commercial property and Southwest Michigan/Northwest Indiana property searches give users even more convenient search options.
The new site also offers detailed write-ups on dozens of neighborhoods and towns, as well as several high-rise condominium buildings in downtown Chicago. Potential homebuyers can also learn more about neighborhoods through videos featuring interviews with local business owners and @properties brokers.
In addition, the site includes local market trends for each neighborhood and suburb, including the average sales price, days on the market, number of homes for sale and a ratio comparing sales prices to list prices. The site’s “Market Minute” video series keeps clients up-to-date on local market trends, and a video explaining the selling process helps @properties clients understand what to expect when selling their home.
“This website offers consumers everything they are looking for when buying or selling a home,” added Michael Golden, @properties co-founder. “Buyers will have better insight into the lifestyle of a particular neighborhood or suburb, and will be able to search for homes much more easily. It will also give our agents a leg up in the marketplace. We’re excited for Chicago to experience this new site.”
