Number of years in real estate: 10 years.
Describe your look: Every time I leave the house, I try to have a complete look together. For me, attention to detail is really important, both in my business and in my style. I really like pieces that have subtle, distinguishing details, but not in an ostentatious way. It is also important for me to always maintain a professional presence.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? I believe fashion is really a personal thing, so I tend to not have too many hard and fast rules. I would say, though, that leaving the house with a scuffed-up, dried-out pair of shoes is something I have never felt comfortable with.
What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? I am in a suit and tie at least six days a week, so it is nice for me to put on something slightly less formal. I have a casual blazer I really love that I throw on over a T-shirt and jeans in the spring and summertime.
What do you consider a must-have accessory? I love lapel flowers now. I have found them to be another subtle detail that really helps complete a look. And they are great conversation starters.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? I wore the ugliest sweater to an office “ugly sweater” holiday party. To be honest, I didn’t think it looked that bad. Needless to say, I won the contest.
Where are your favorite places to shop? As far as boutiques go, I love Akira. For my professional wardrobe, I work with my close friend, J.P. Chookaszian, co-founder of Urban Offering, to design everything I wear. I love how I can pick out and customize all the details with them.
What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? I would say not taking myself too seriously. I try and make sure I look put together when I leave in the morning, and then not be overly concerned once I step out.
