The Chicago Tribune recently released its list of the best places to work in Chicago, and the real estate industry is represented well among the top small (250 employees or less), midsize (250-999) and large (1,000 or more) businesses.

Charles Rutenberg Realty, headquartered in Naperville, ranked No. 1 for the midsize category, and Baird & Warner repeated last year’s results by finishing second for large companies.

Other notable rankings for industry companies include Kale Realty, second-best small business; Transwestern, an agency headquartered in Houston, eighth-best small business; @properties, tenth-best midsize business; Jones Lang LaSalle, ranked 18 for large business; Guaranteed Rate, ranked 22 for large businesses; and Pangea Properties, ranked 24 for midsize business.
