For the past three years, Coldwell Banker has devoted its September to promoting and acting on behalf of the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation. Throughout the month agents, employees and their respective communities are encouraged to benefit the foundation.
Common ways that people get involved include educating themselves about the 28 charities supported by the foundation, volunteering, making a donation or setting up a fundraiser. In addition, Coldwell Banker offices are currently accepting gift card and toy donations that will go toward the Toy Room at the Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children’s Hospital.
“I am extremely proud to say that over five years the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation has successfully raised over $600,000 for our local housing-related charities,” said Fran Broude, president and COO of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “It’s a testament to how committed our agents and managers are to strengthening our communities through charitable contributions, fundraising events and volunteer work.”
In addition to supporting charities that aid sick children, the foundation supports causes for the homeless, domestic abuse victims, military servicemen and women, runaway teens and more.
