Schumacher, Goro and Kroc have all navigated the changing real estate landscape to be better able to help their agents. The goal of any managing broker, they say, especially in a world where systems and the way things are done can change within hours, is to train agents to be able to deal with anything that comes at them.

“My goal is for my agents to look like the agents of tomorrow,” Schumacher says. “They’re never scrambling, they’re never scattered. They look at their calendar on their cell phone and see where they need to be; they pull up necessary documents and files from where they’ve stored them; they have everything because they follow systems to ensure that they not only look professional, but are the most prepared, too. It’s my job to walk them through what an agent of tomorrow is and help them become one.”
