The Illinois Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Chapter is looking for nominations for its Black Diamond Awards, to be presented on November 18th at the Black Diamond Awards dinner, held at Spaggia Italian Restaurant.

The third annual Black Diamond Awards dinner will give out awards to individuals who have worked to support and benefit the community or the commercial real estate industry, or to individuals who have achieved notable success for the year of 2011.

There are three awards handed out each year. The Peter Petrouski Memorial Charity Service Award is awarded to a person who has dedicated time and work to a charitable organization. The CCIM Professional Award is given to someone deserving of recognition for personal commitment to further the profession through chapter activities, the local board of Realtors or other civic organizations. Lastly, the Transaction of the Year Award will go to an individual who has completed a real estate transaction that is unique in nature, is uncharacteristically large in size or value, or which benefitted the community in some significant way. For the Transaction of the Year Award commission value is not a contributor.

The awards ceremony will be accompanied with dinner, cocktails, a silent auction, entertainment and networking opportunities.
